A friend of ours, Ross Marshall, has assembled the following moving gallery of his tour with his wife Robyn and friends around the back roads of the central North Island of New Zealand. While many places are familiar to us in Tailpipes and Headlamps, Ross is riding a Suzuki DR650 and rides some roads which we tarmac riders find a bit of a struggle. Ross was one who inspired me to take up riding back in the 1970’s with his succession of super fast Kawasakis and off road bikes. I was also grooms-man at Ross and Robyn’s wedding.
